The original group of gaming portals are for the majority a passive business with links to a number of gaming websites through affiliate programs where revenue is generated from any player referrals. The gaming portals also feature advertising for the Two Internet Casinos owned by the company. News content is provided by a 3rd party syndicator and general news features are published by the owners. Traffic levels are relatively low however the quality of traffic can be good and additional marketing, content and SEO will increase traffic and revenues.
Membership Subscription Prize Site
Initially created by one of the owners in 2001 as a subscription solution where members joined for free to win prizes given away each week, this business benefits from almost 63,000 member subscribers who subscribe to more than 20 target category groups. Promotional emails were delivered from a variety of paying advertisers and affiliate partners to generate revenue. The business was acquired by the company in 2010 and has been predominantly used to deliver casino players and affiliate partners to the internal brands, however can turn to generating additional revenues by selling the advertising space and marketing 3rd party brands.
Two Internet Casinos (UK Licensed)
There are two branded internet casinos which benefit from being top tier graded domain/brand names. In 2013 one of the brands was launched with a casino service provider based in the Isle of Man. After the change in UK legislation and poor services offered by the supplier, we moved the casinos to a new provider. After seeing that the new provider was providing a solid product and good quality service, a second brand was launched and its current growth rate is far in excess of the original brand. The entire casino product is fully outsourced through a 3rd party supplier who provides player interface, administration back office, game integration and management, payment processing, customer support, licensing and player retention services. The work that is required by the operator is purely marketing through affiliates of which this function is currently outsourced through an affiliate management company.
Two Affiliate Recruitment Businesses
The two casinos each have their own affiliate programs where marketing partners can join the program and earn commission from the losses of players that they refer to the casinos. The recruitment and management of affiliates is currently outsourced to a 3rd party company on a performance basis where the company pays a sliding scale fee based on the profitability of the affiliate program.
Originally the business was operated on a part time basis by a number of the owners, and was expanded into a number of different products, however due to other business interests now taking more time and none being able to devote the time effort and resources required to grow the business, the owners have decided that they will sell the business to new owners that will be able to take it forward.
The business has been developed with solid foundations and has seen good revenue streams since its inception and with the addition of two UK licensed casinos, it has now added additional revenue streams, has the option of producing others and has the potential to become extremely profitable.
Some of the software utilized by businesses is not owned by the business and is licensed through 3rd party companies. The business in general has most parts that are outsourced; however the new owners will need to dedicate time and resources to marketing and promotional activity for the group of websites.
